Sizing Guide: How it Works
We offer the following standard width sizes:
2", 4", 6", 8", 10", 12", and 15"
We offer the following standard width sizes:
2", 4", 6", 8", 10", 12", and 15"
1. The "Width First" Rule
In almost all cases, the size you choose determines how wide your image will be. We lock the aspect ratio so your image doesn't get stretched or squished—the height simply follows the width.
2. The 19-Inch Limit
If you have a very tall or long design (like a vertical list or a totem pole), setting the width to 15" might make the design 30" long—which is too big for your shirts!
In this specific case, we stop scaling at 19 inches long. This means your final width might end up being smaller than the size you selected to ensure the entire design fits on the sheet.
Example A: The Square
You order: 6" x 6"
Your Design: A perfect circle.
Result: 6" wide x 6" tall.
Example B: The Rectangle (Standard)
You order: 10" x 10"
Your Design: A wide logo (landscape orientation).
Result: 10" wide. The height will adjust proportionally (e.g., 10" wide x 4" tall).
Example C: The "Long" Design (The 19" Cap)
You order: 15" x 15"
Your Design: A tall, thin giraffe (portrait orientation).
Result: If we made the giraffe 15" wide, it would be 40" tall! Instead, we cap the height at 19". The width will scale down to match (e.g., the final print might be 7" wide x 19" tall).
